Europe boasts of excellent transport infrastructure: air, road, rail which aids the traveler in exploring new vistas and unexpected discoveries. Very few places in the world have remained untouched by European history, culture & influence. This tour is designed for the first time traveler to Europe engaging her with the best of travel experiences in Western Europe. Our journey begins in Switzerland, a landlocked country with amazing landscapes. On arrival at Zurich airport we board the train to the small lake town of Interlaken for 2 nights. We return to Zurich to explore the capital city. Later we visit Paris, the city of the iconic Eiffel tower, and our final destination would be Amsterdam, famous for its artistic heritage & intricate canal system. The tour follows a seamless itinerary based on inter-city transfers on the efficient European rail network.
DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1:
On arrival at Zurich airport we board the train to Interlaken (2 hr 20 min) & transfer to the hotel. Interlaken is a traditional resort town in the mountainous Bernese Oberland region of central Switzerland, built on a narrow stretch of valley, between the emerald-colored waters of Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. Enjoy a stroll through the picturesque town or cruise through the turquoise waters of the enchanting Lake Thun and Lake Brienz offering an awe-inspiring view of the mountains, castles and the town. Overnight in Interlaken.
DAY 2:
After breakfast we embark on a full day trip to Jungfraujoch, Europe’s highest mountain. Proceed to Lauterbrunnen by train to board the cogwheel train to Mt Jungfraujouch, Europe’s highest railway station. The train journey to the highest station is filled with stupendous views and enticing tunnels surely will leave you mesmerized. At Jungfraujouch visit the Ice Palace, experience panoramic views from Spnix Observation terrace overlooking Altesch Glaricer –Europe’s longest Glacier. Overnight in Interlaken.
DAY 3:
After early breakfast, visit MT Schilthorn by cable car and enjoy the beautiful view of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau (UNESCO World Heritage) and on more than 200 other summits. You can also spectacular views from a revolving restaurant. Also enjoy stunning views from The Piz Gloria View platform, visit The Bond World 007, view the entire mountain panorama as well as heady views into the depths from the Skyline Walk. We return to Interlaken by 3:00 PM, and take the late afternoon train to Zurich (2 hr 20 minutes). Settle down in your hotel in Zurich. DAY 4:
After breakfast we undertake a half-daytrip from Zurich to see the Rhine Falls and historical Stein am Rhein on the half-day sightseeing trip by air-conditioned coach. Travel northward through vine-coated hills to the Swiss-German border. Visit Laufen Castle to see the falls, and if you’re here in summer, take an optional boat ride for an up-close look at the cascades. Continue to Stein am Rhein and enjoy a walking tour through the Old Town, passing the fresco-covered houses and other medieval landmarks. After returning from the trip, we shall board the late afternoon direct train to Paris (4 hr), reaching Paris by 8 PM. Overnight in Paris.
DAY 5:
Today we enjoy the iconic sights of Paris. First we have an orientation tour of Paris through the Seine river cruise, followed by a tour of Eiffel tower. In the afternoon we shall explore the Paris shopping scene. Experience Parisian fashion like you've never did before! Unique places to visit, meeting artisans or private access to stores and showrooms, let yourself be guided in unique places for an extraordinary fashion experience. We round up the day with a 2CV city tour at night (Citreon 2CV is an iconic French mini car). Overnight in Paris.
DAY 6:
Today we visit Louvre Museum & Luxembourg Park. The Louvre is the most visited art museum in the world. Located in the heart of Paris, this historic building is a former royal palace, with an area of 210,000 square meters including 60,600 for the exhibitions. The museum is housed in the Louvre, originally a fortress built in the late 12th century under Philip II. It houses the famous ‘Mona Lisa’ painting. The Luxembourg park is a private garden open to the public created in 1612 at the request of Marie de Medicis to accompany the Luxembourg Palace. The Parisians affectionately call it the "Luco". The garden surrounds the Palais du Luxembourg, where the Senate seats. Later we board the late afternoon fast train to Amsterdam (3 hr 20 min). Settle down in your hotel in Amsterdam.
DAY 7:
Post breakfast we embark on a half day tour to see the historic windmills of Zaanse Schans on a coach tour from Amsterdam with a professional guide. Learn about cheese making, walk on wooden shoes, see the interior of a working windmill and view the wooden green-painted houses and shops. Later in the evening we enjoy a canal cruise to enjoy the famous sights of Amsterdam from water. Overnight in Amsterdam.
DAY 8:
Post breakfast, depart from your hotel in Amsterdam to board your flight back to India.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Content of tour packages
Being the planner and manager of your travel program, WETO assures the execution of the plan as described in the planner. The contents mentioned therein shall be realized in full, except in exceptional circumstances like war, riots, strikes, terrorist attacks, sanitary problems, natural disasters and the like. WETO arranges all kinds travel, both at domestic and international levels.
2. Registration and payments
While registering, the client has to pay 30% of the travel charges. The remaining 70% of the amount has to be paid no later than 45 days prior the departure. WETO reserves the right to decide the amount to be paid as advance payment on the basis of the nature of the service and the time left for the commencement of the same. Also, in certain cases (journey by trains), bookings of hotels/resorts in the peak season or during festivals, may require full payment so as to hold space on ‘confirmed basis’. [Such payments are non-refundable.]
3. Modes of payment
The payments can be made through channels like wire transfer to our Bank or through mail authorization through credit cards or online payment through payment gateway using Master/Visa debit/credit cards. A bank processing fee would be applicable on the amount being paid by credit cards.
4. Travel package content and prices
The prices of the travel packages are determined by their content. In other words, the prices include everything WETO has stated in the travel program. No other services in addition to those mentioned in the program are included in the price. These additional services should be requested at the time of registration and this will be added to the package price. Any additional or special service requested during the travel must be directly paid to the representative of WETO during the tour and in the local currency of the country where the service is provided.
5. Service description and categorization
Facilities offered like accommodation, means of transport, restaurants and the like are explained by the officials at the time of the issue of the program. Standard of the facilities offered by WETO may vary with respect to places/countries.
6. Policy regarding cancellation/ early departure/ no show
In case of any cancellation of travel schedules by clients, WETO must be notified regarding the same in writing. Cancellation charges shall be effective from the date/time WETO receives the intimation in writing from the client. Cancellation fees as below apply to the land packages and/or services:

In case any train or flights tickets are involved, the refund shall be applicable according to the advised cancellation policy at the time of booking.
The deposits on the tour packages with special offers are not refundable.
7. Change of program
The tour operator shall have the right to change the contents of the program in case of Acts of God (exceptional circumstances which are beyond human control/ prediction, hence cannot be avoided/ removed). Any arranged accommodation can only be replaced by accommodation in a facility of the same or higher category, at the expense of the service provider.
8. Travel documents
Any traveler who applies for a trip abroad must possess valid identity documents. In case the travel requires a visa for entry into a specific country, WETO shall inform the travelers about the same. Travelers then can acquire the documents necessary to obtain a visa and submit them to a competent embassy. WETO shall then issue a certificate regarding the reservation made by the traveler. WETO does not guarantee the obtaining/ validity of the visa.
9. Refund
With respect to the refund of unexploited services which have been paid for and cancelled in advance, the refund amount shall be calculated on the basis of the policy mentioned above (See pt. 6).
The refund process might take 2-4 weeks as a result of time consumed in bank dealings. In the case of refund made to credit card/ bank account, the bank charges would be debited from the refund amount.
10. Travel insurance
The traveler must assure that he is satisfactorily insured for the entire extent of the tour with regards to injury, illness, death, loss of baggage/ personal items, cancellation and curtailment. The choice of insurer is the solitary discretion of the client.
11. Age requirements
Any person below the age of 18 years shall be regarded as a minor. It is imperative that a minor at all times is accompanied by an adult. The adult/ (parent) attending the minor shall be responsible for securing all the necessary documents to ensure that the said minor has met all the legal requirements to travel. WETO shall not be responsible for any damages, fees, or losses incurred as a result of any failure to secure necessary approvals, permits and consents.
12. Airfare
Prices of the tour packages don’t include international or other airfare unless explicitly declared in the package description. WETO shall quote the best available prices for the travel dates requested at the time of preparation of the quote. Quotes only provide an estimate and shall not be taken as any price commitment by WETO. Also, WETO shall also not be responsible for any changes in air itineraries or flight timings and does not provide advice or alerts about tickets, flight status or delays.
13. Passports and Visas
Travelers shall be liable for guaranteeing that they possess proper travel documents required for documentation and identification at the time of entry, exit and travel to other country.
Travelers must check with their respective consulate/(s) or visa agency in order to determine if any visas/passports are required. It is essential that passports are valid for at least 6 months beyond the dates of travel. WETO shall not be responsible for any cancellation due to visa/passport.
Travelers must accept full responsibility for acquiring all essential documents like visas and permits before the start of the tour and they shall be fully responsible for the entire amount incurred due to defective/missing documents.
14. Our liabilities and limitations
All efforts shall be sincerely made by WETO to maintain the contract made with the customers. However, there are always possibilities that some matters relating to airfares, entrance fee at the monuments or extreme rise in fuel costs etc., become more expensive without any notice from the respective authorities of the Government. In such cases, the difference in the cost shall have to be borne by the clients. WETO shall only act in the capacity of an agent of the hotels, transporters, railways, airlines and contractors providing other services & all exchange orders, receipts, contracts & tickets issued by us subject to the terms & conditions under which these services are provided by actual suppliers.
15. Risks involved
The client shall recognize the fact that the products and services offered by WETO may comprise of some risks to his health and safety. While traveling with the WETO, the traveler must acknowledge that he has measured the potential risks his to health and safety. He has assumed the responsibility for all such risks and release WETO from all claims and causes of action arising from any loss, damage, injury or death resulting from the risks that are integral part of travel, including visits to foreign destinations, and participating in adventurous activities such as those included in Tour itineraries or otherwise offered by WETO.
16. Passenger agreement
All the travelers shall be required to complete a ‘Passenger Agreement’ before the commencement of the journey to give consent to WETO’s Terms & Conditions, Release from Liability, Assumption of Risk and Binding Arbitration Agreement. Passengers booking online shall be required to complete the ‘Passenger Agreement’ at the time of booking. Passengers booking via telephone shall be provided with a verbal review of the ‘Passenger Agreement’ which will be delivered via email shortly after the time of booking. Clients who are unable to receive and complete their ‘Passenger Agreement’ via email may request for the same to be provided via fax or mail. Travel documents shall not be released without a completed Passenger Agreement. WETO reserves the right to cancel bookings and return deposits without a completed ‘Passenger Agreement’.
